Medical Administator 

(20 hours a week plus regular holiday relief cover)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with excellent communication and IT skills to join our admin team at Stromness Surgery. Experience of working in a GP practice or other clinical environment would be an advantage. The successful candidate should be flexible in their approach to cover team absences where necessary and have a good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to deal with stressful situations in a sensitive manner.  Duties will include a diverse range of reception and administrative tasks. Working hours will include some evening work.

 Job Description

SALARIED GP

We are looking for a Salaried GP to work 6-8 sessions per week.  £10,000 per session per year.

3 partner practice

3100 patients (including 120 on 2 separate islands)

Good working relationship with the extended practice team

1 Practice Nurse and one Treatment Room Nurse

On site Community Nurses, Health Visitors, Physiotherapist and Primary Care Mental Health Nurse

Remote Pharmacy Input

SCOTGem Training Practice

The opportunity to do diving medicine, including hyperbaric work, if interested.  Full training provided and consultant support given from Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Hyperbaric Medicine Unit.

Vision computer system

No GP out of hours work
